SAVE MONEY WITH REAL NAPPIES

Flipsdzinniasingle_pkg200x200

In this economic climate saving money is at the forefront of every parents’ mind. Using washable nappies rather than disposables is one way of saving, even taking in to account the washing costs and wear and tear on your washing machine. Disposable nappies are expensive and that money literally goes straight into the bin – with the nappies filling up landfills. For example, if you spend on average of £5 a week at the supermarket on disposable nappies for two and a half years (130 weeks), you will spend £650. That's 4,500 nappies at 14.4 pence each. If you buy 'eco-disposables' at £17 per week you will spend £2,210. That's 4,500 nappies at 49p each. If you buy washable nappies you may spend between £120 and £300 depending on the system you choose. You will spend about £1 per week on washing, so add a further £130. If you use disposable liners you will spend on average £2.50 per month, so add a further £75.

In total you will spend between £325 and £505 on washable nappies from birth to potty. There’s another saving too, reusable nappies can be used for more than one baby and the added advantage is that you always have nappies handy - no dashing off to the supermarket.*

Reusable nappies have come a long way since the days of nappy pins, sweaty plastic pants and boiling terry nappies. Today’s parents are choosing nappies such as the award winning bumGenius one-size cloth nappy. They perform well, are shaped to fit and come in a dazzling array of colours.

Have a look too at Flip, a One-Size reusable nappy system from the bumGenius collection. It’s kind on your pocket and the environment too, and is possibly the most flexible and versatile nappy system ever! It’s easy to use and fits effortlessly around the demands of your daily life. You can choose from Flip Stay Dry, Flip Organic or the revolutionary Flip Disposable. There’s a soft one size cover that grows with your baby and the choice of three ultra absorbent inserts that let you customise the nappy for work, home and play.

·         Flip Stay Dry insert is made of three absorbent layers of microfiber and smooth stay-dry suede that wicks away moisture from baby's bum, keeping her drier for longer.

·         Flip Organic Inserts are very soft, ultra-absorbent and made from 100% Oeko-Tex certified organic cotton.

·         Flip One-Size Disposable The first ever biodegradable (97% biodegradable, most eco disposables are only 60%) disposable insert to be fully Oeko-Tex approved.

For a nappy solution for every budget there’s Econobum featuring Iform fitting elastic, and an easy to use snap system and a durable waterproof cover.  Forget on-going nappy expenses because this birth to potty kit costs just £89.00.
